Matt Weathers

Matt Weathers was raised on a small Indiana farm and landed his first job at a local produce farm. He then earned his Bachelors degree in business management and IT, while interning at Preferred Popcorn East. Matt has more than a decade of experience in the popcorn industry covering everything from grain handling to plant operations, to grain conditioning and quality management, to food safety, and currently, office management and export documentation. He has extensive knowledge of the entire popcorn production process from the field to the customer, and recently completed the International Trade Certification Program through the World Trade Center. Matt is always ready to help out, and wears many hats for Preferred Popcorn. Matt and his wife Jessi have two sweet children.
